To speak with someone in the admissions office, please call (410) 243-4688. An admissions representative will be available to assist you Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8 am to 10 pm, Tuesday and Friday 8 am to 7 pm, and 8 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
We are open for tours Sunday through Friday by appointment.
We encourage all prospective students to schedule a tour of the school and sit in on a class.
To assure a place in the class, please complete your application and submit with supporting documents at least 30 days prior to the class start date. This will allow sufficient time to complete the enrollment process which will include the following:

- Applicant's admission interview with Director
- Completion of enrollment agreement, including $500 enrollment deposit (not required for VA students)
- Review and signing of financial aid award notification and verification process if selected by the Department of Education (financial aid students only)
- Certificate of Eligibility of VA Benefits for veterans
- Attendance at Orientation

The following items must be submitted along with your application:
- Application fee of $80, made payable to Holistic Massage Training Institute
- Three reference letters from people who have known you at least two years, not including relatives. The letters must be signed and must contain contact information.
- Copy of photo I.D.
- Any college transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)
- Transcripts from any trade schools attended
- If you have less than 60 college credits, you will also need to submit your high school transcript or GED certificate.
entrance requirements
To be considered for the 810 clock hour massage therapy training program, the applicant must be at least 17 years of age (provided that they will be 18 years old at the time of graduation) and possess a high school diploma, GED certificate or a college transcript reflecting achievement beyond the high school level.
In order to benefit from the training, the applicant should be in good health and have reasonable stamina, as the work of a massage therapist can be physically demanding. It is expected that the applicant will have the motivation to complete the program in the time allotted, and have the aptitude to study the written, technical, and practical material, as well as have the financial resources necessary to complete the program.
All applicants will be interviewed by the Director prior to admission into the program. A maximum of 20 students will be accepted into each class, giving a maximum student to instructor ratio of 20:1 for lecture, lab and clinic.
