Holistic massage training institute offers an 810 clock hour massage therapy training program (8, 13 or 17 months) which, once completed, will qualify the student to sit for the licensing exam for entry level massage therapists, and become either a licensed massage therapist or a registered massage practitioner in maryland.

STUDENT DISCLOSURE NOTICE

This notice is to inform all currently enrolled and prospective students that Holistic Massage Training Institute has received a Show Cause action from Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). As a result of this action, the institution is required to submit and implement a Teach-Out Plan Agreement to ensure the protection of students’ educational interests and continuity of instruction.
A Teach-Out Plan Agreement is required when an accrediting agency determines that an institution must demonstrate why its accreditation should not be withdrawn or otherwise subject to adverse action.
ABHES will be doing a focus site visit on April 6, 2026 to assure that all students are completing with 810 hours (100% attendance).
The purpose of the Teach-Out Plan is to provide reasonable assurance that students will be able to complete their program of study with minimal disruption, either at this institution or through approved transfer arrangements if necessary.
